The location was good- could walk into town in about 10-15 mins. Close to highway but not too much noise overnight.

Great pit stop on our travels full of friendly country charm, and tasty homestyle meals! Comfortable rooms and great AC. We'd stayed the week before on our way up to Cairns for Christmas, great place to stay with our 2 dogs, Shannon at reception gave us phenomenal service, friendly and personable. Unfortunately we had to leave our old girl up in Cairns, Shannon showed great care and compassion through a tough time. Absolutely recommend staying if you have pets travelling with you, when they say they are pet friendly they mean it.Thanks guys for a great stay, you have a lovely establishment and we can't wait to come back!

I stayed at the Barcaldine Country Motor Inn after a trip out in the bush. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, comfort and service of this motel. The room was spacious, well-equipped and had a nice view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful in particular the young man at the pool. The motel also has a pool and a restaurant next door which were great. The location is convenient and I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for an over-night quality stay in Barcaldine. It was a great value for money and a pleasant experience. Thank you Barcaldine Country Motor Inn for making my trip easier and more enjoyable!
