Amasing setting, open area, lots of wee nooks to sit. The pool was gorgeous even had a resident frog! Cooffee rest area down the back with loads of tables .. make your own with all sorts of flavours, teas etc. Just out of town but close to everything really. Great wee town would highly recommend for a holiday. Everything we needed was there.

Travelling from Melbourne to Townsville and stopping along the way and this motel was the best the pool was great the room was big 2 adults 2 kids.. very clean staff were friendly and bbq was easy to use plus had everything you need to cook with .. highly recommend 👌

Fantastic tour at Texas Longhorn station.
Fantastic tour at Texas Longhorn station. Up close to amazing animals and very informative. Highly recommended. Interesting tour at Venus Gold battery. This tour takes you back to the Gold rush and processing era. 1872. Very interesting. Great views of Charters Towers from Tower Hill.
Had a delicious, perfectly cooked steak at the Sovereign Hotel. Wonderful accommodation at Kernow.

No attendant present at Check-in at 4pm.
No attendant present at Check-in at 4pm. Couldn't find anyone to serve me. Determined to find alternative accommodation and went to another major hotel WHICH WAS attended. That attendant said someone should have been at CTM and rang him.
CTM attendant turned up and l finally checked in.

Clean and tidy town, shopping was made easy with the late close on Friday night. I travelled with a work colleague, and we had an early start on Saturday morning. The bedding in the cabin made for a very relaxing sleep. I will be returning in about 4 weeks' time, and we will be booking another cabin.
