Old Wharf area very interesting with so much to see , donation only to enter interpretive center. Many hotels and cafes to choose from, good selection for meals. We loved the Shamrock pub. If you have time go on a steamboat or ride on a buggy. Very clean town.

Easy to walk around the town, always feeling safe, even in the evening. Multiple choices for eating, for everyone: Lucky House Chinese / Echuca Workers / Moama RSL / The Caledonian Hotel all great choices this visit. A must is to enjoy The Historic Port and the paddle steamers: The Canberra: Wharf to Winery cruise wonderful as usual, with special thanks to the captain: Beth who has a fun way to introduce you to her boat and The Murray. High Street shops are all great to visit. The Moama market always worth a couple of hours visit and Echuca Museum is a hidden gem well worth visiting but leave a couple of hours to see all it has to offer. A special mention to the young folk - it was Halloween and the kids who came to our house displayed good manners and ability to engage in playful conversation while having fun. A testament to all the parents and people we engaged with.

Great place to visit , love the paddle boats tooting and the shopping centre is great . Lots of lovely clothing stores and retail managers /assistants very helpful & friendly . Lot of lovely restaurants and cafes and staff were great , meals were also good too . We visited the Star Hotel and Antonios for evening meals . . beautiful meals both times . Cafe at Narebo was lovely also .

I arrived there on a south-western NSW adventure, travelling alone. The weather was very hot, being the start of December, and traffic was busy with drivers trying to get to their destinations and out of the heat. The shopping centre was popular, of course, with ample parking, and many places to have a meal.
