I didn't get to see much as I was only there for one night.. I had the best dinner at a Restaurant called Novus.. I had the Reef & Beef. It was One of the best meals I've had yet. The staff were great.
I used to be a local Griffith is highly recommended to any age group. Restaurants and fantastic and winery's 2 to. None Griffith is easy to find your way around, Victoria hotel meals were beautiful
Griffith is a vibrant country town servicing a rich agricultural area. While there are not a lot of tourist hot spots, there is plenty to absorb while driving around the different farms and wineries. There are also plenty of spots for observing birds in the water ways, lakes and forests not far from town. There are quite a few restaurants and cafes which were well attended during our time there. The history of the town and the Murray Irrigation area was very interesting. Having been designed by Walter Burley Griffin, the suburbs were interesting and well kept.
We found this absolutely fantastic small goods store in Bana St. The family who ran it were so welcoming and friendly. I will most certainly return and buy more if their wonderful produce. It was a very busy time in their tiny store but they took their time with us and let us taste their cheese and salami.
There are some nice retuarants in town. A few takeaways including the big chains. I would avoid them next time although I only tried Burger King. It's easy enough to get around if you have a car, but I didn't see a bus at all. Not so easy on foot because they don't seem to encourage walking or cycling. Good information centre.
