We were met at the airport and transferred to the accommodation where all the facilities and amenities were explained along with the procedures and pick ups for departure. Hamilton Island is a family resort, and you instantly relax...
Hamilton Island is a family resort, and you instantly relax getting off the plane. Transport is a golf cart which is fun in itself. Loads of pools to cover no water at the beach on low tide. Great selection of restaurants but book early. Lots of excursions off the island which are pricey. Scenery is unique and stunning. cockatoos are friendly and wallabies all over the place are cute. Love it here, second trip this year and I will be back. It is great for 3-4 day break, very accessible from sydney on direct 2 hour flight. Love it here

I loved the swims in the ocean and pool, the beautiful gardens and the view of the ocean and islands. The myriad of blue colours of the ocean were stunning! The islanders were friendly! As my partner and I are elderly, we found it very easy to get around the island!

Absolutely brilliant, a buggy is a must to get around on and super fun (although there is a wee shuttle bus if your not keen on a buggy). The views from every point are beautiful it is very relaxing, great food options everywhere, great pools that everyone can access at the resorts, lovely wee shops and bars.

Our sons wedding The price it was very expensive and not friendly to under 4 year olds for weddings we had to go to another island as they were not catered for on Hamilton island for a meal so not happy about that

Loved the island experience, made all the better as we had beautiful weather. We ate in half the time and also enjoyed fish and chips, a tavern meal and a dinner cruise. So easy to get around in the buggies, but could walk to icecream or coffee. Enjoyed the pool at the villas but also used the pools at the beach area.

Hamilton Island is a stunningly beautiful place. Yes, it is a little expensive but it is an island of resorts and luxury so you need to expect this. The days are filled with outdoor activities, eating delicious food and drinking cocktails so early nights are not a problem. The Cruise Whitsunday adventure was great and included morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. The waterways and snorkeling were terriffic !! It was a little disappointing that the Sailing club was closed on a Sunday.
