Hotels near Moorabbin Airport - MBW, Melbourne

This motel was in ideal spot for our trip. The beds were excellent, breakfast in room tasty and good size room. You need a car, no shops nearby. Bistro next door was booked out but meals sounded good. Only issue was sound proofing. Voices came through the door.

location is very good. very close to train station. Many coffee shops close by. Only has cups/plates etc. for 2 people so constantly washing up. No dishwasher in room. Did expect a washing maching however I may not have checked that out enough. Did experience problems with the internet and it was fixed shortly after however experienced the same problems the next day.

Having recently had knee surgery I forgot to request a ground floor room. The staff member picked up I wasn't looking forward to walking up two flights of stairs and offered a ground floor room. He was quick to say there could be more traffic noise, but it wasn't bad. My Grandaughters and I had a great stay. And I would book again.

The room was beautifully clean, spacious and the shower was great. The concierge at the front desk was very friendly, however the noise that we encountered due to a 21st party in the Dingley International Bistro next door and all the sounds from cars and people talking in the car park was just too much, so unfortunately it turned what could have been a wonderful stay into a frustrating one that wasn't very restful. The windows of the hotel must be super thin as I heard every noise from the party and every noise from the car park. The party went until about 2am and then people starting leaving at about 7am, so we only got about 5hrs of rest.

Staying in Parkdale was the closest we could get to our social function in Mordialloc central. Parkdale is an improving suburb near the water and the walk from there to Mordialloc along the highway was entertaining if you like domestic gardens and new and old nits and apartments as a social observer. It's only 3km from Mordialloc and a good place to stay if one needs it. For New Years Eve, inside our room was remarkably quiet in terms of what may have been folk staying there celebrating. Overall the room we had was comfortable in the extreme outside heat at the peak of summer and we were especially grateful that the AC, fridge and shower were so functional.

The room size was spacious and sparkly clean. The staff were very friendly and accomadating. Room service staff were also very professional. Lovely to deal with. We come here alot as this place is great Value for money. The location is quiet and set back from main roads and traffic.
