Hotels near Mitchell Airport (MTQ), Mitchell

Mitchell is a lovely country town. You get the sense that the locals take pride in their town. Everything seemed neat and clean. We stayed in a local motel and enjoyed a visit to the artesian spa - a relaxing end to a long day of driving. We were only in town overnight and could have stayed another day to look around and take in some of the area's history. We wanted to eat in at the motel and the local supermarket had a wide range of options for an easy dinner. As we drove out of Mitchell toward St George we came across several historical sites or places of interest that were well sign posted.

A lovely weekend stay for Football, brings the town and other people together to watch young and old players. The cabin was lovely and comfotable. The new owners were absolutely lovely, congratulations to them both, cannot wait to see the finish product with your new adventure it will bring more to the community. Will defiently be staying again soon.
