The property was excellent and just as we expected from our stay the week before. The freshly baked bread left for us was very much appreciated. I should point out that when we arrived, we noticed that someone had inadvertently left a can of Coke in the freezer. The can had exploded. We disposed of the can but were unable to clean up its spilt contents as the liquid had frozen to the freezer's base.

We were welcomed with a smile & easy check-in.
The meals were delicious & the beds very comfortable.

A great old building, our room was large with a very small ensuite but this is pretty normal in these old buildings. Our bed was super comfortable which was important after a few long days of traveling and having an injury. I just wish Id been up to going back for a chat with the owners in front of the fire after dinner.

Very good facilities for a family with 4 teenagers. Comfortable, surprisingly quiet at night even at full capacity. Andrew the manager was very obliging with late check in and extremely pleasant.

Room was , clean and comfortable, everything you’d need was there , I got in late at 9:30pm , a staff member was still in the office and recommended the restaurant at the ampol 24 hr servo for a meal , had one of the best mixed grills ever and I’m 61 , would definitely recommend

If you plan to stay here make sure you book early. if driving west it is the perfect driving distance from Sydney.
The club is excellent for a meal and is across the road from the motel.
Short walk to bakery/coffee shop and supermarket to top up on snacks for the next day.

I travel through Narrandera three or four times a years,...
I travel through Narrandera three or four times a years, often on a motorbike, occasionally with my partner in a car.
Relatively, there are many motels in Narrandera but I recommend you book ahead, with care & diligence; while most motels & hotels are quite good I've experienced two bad ones in recent years.
There are a couple of great little main street cafes for breakfast.

Narrandera is a tidy town.
Narrandera is a tidy town. Much of the architecture is of historic value; the town has a well preserved commercial centre and the residential housing is also well kept. The town seems to be well planned with wide streets and established trees.
Dinner at the Bidgee Hotel was really nice.
It has an excellent aquatic centre with an olympic sized pool, huge recreational pool, kids pool and fountains and water slides. The centre is next to Lake Murrumbidgee and an adjacent modern lookout entertains with spectacular views of the Lake and aquatic centre. It is worth the view and seeing it at sunset is extra special. I would have liked to have explored more of the town and its attractions if we had more time.
