We had to book there because our flight was cancelled at the last minute, and the accommodation was quite nice. Spacious room, large bathroom, fridge, comfortable bed and air conditioning. For a one-off night out, I’d definitely do it again

Blackiron is a beautiful and very peaceful location. We particularly enjoyed a tub under the stars and gentle outdoor lighting. The bed was soooo comfortable, such a good night sleep. Our dogs were welcomed. Being able to take our dogs down to the creek for a run and swim was an unexpected bonus, they loved it.  Ben was friendly, welcoming and helpful, everything you could want in a host.

Very clean and tidy rooms. The bathroom was exceptionally clean as was the bedroom. I didn't arrive until 115am and the instructions to get in to my room were clear and worked flawlessly. I was very happy to find that the aircon worked really well also.

Excellent quality motel in Proserpine. Very close to amenities and railway station. Rooms very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Great fully equipped little kitchenette area with tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, etc. Air con excellent in the heat and strong wifi. But above all Leah was very friendly, kind and professional so thank you, we will definitely stay again!

The owners were lovely ,friendly and very welcoming. .
