Offering a barbecue and views of the pool, Bravia Hotel Ouagadougou is situated in Ouagadougou. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The hotel is in a nice area - safe and kept. There is absolutely professional security personnel at the entrance. It is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and there was a good desk to work on. Windows were big and curtains were thick enough to not let the sun burn you in case you need to sleep. The bed was king size and very comfortable. The TV set had enough programs in English. The shower was one of my favorites in the room in general - enough water and easily adjusted spurt. Breakfast was relatively good and diverse - for the standards I have experienced elsewhere in Africa I would even say excellent. Room service was prompt. Shuttle to the airport was easy to organize.

Providing free WiFi and a garden, Maison d'hôtes Chez Giuliana is situated in Ouagadougou. This bed and breakfast offers a shared kitchen and a concierge service. My colleague and I were overwhelmed with how lovely and welcoming Chez Giuliana was upon our arrival. A relaxing and colourful place to spend time in between meetings, with convenient places to work remotely - from the large roof terrace in the sun, to the desks in our rooms when it got a little too hot. The location was great, with anything we needed within easy walking distance. Taxis had no problem finding the place. Incredibly friendly staff were able to provide recommendations on where to go for food, but also were kind enough to order food for delivery for us. The breakfast was a lovely way to start the day.
