Our second time at this hotel. Everything is just perfect!!! Large, clean, comfortable rooms. The beds are big and very comfortable. There is a kitchenette with everything you need to cook. There is a fridge, kettle, television and everything you need. The rooms are inside a hotel, 5 minutes drive from the airport. The lobby is large and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant has an excellent breakfast at a really cheap price! The host Irina is very nice and helps with everything you need. We will definitely come back again!!!

The staff were very kind. The room was spacious, clean and quite. The free shuttle to the airport is very useful. Being vegetarian I could find something to choose from breakfast and dinner in the resutrant.

Property was 5 mins taxi from airport. Cost 10 levs so about £5. Flat was nice and clean with a comfy bed. In the morning we walked to the local Lidl to get some food before leaving the property and jumping on the Metro system into Sofia. Great location and was perfect for a quick stop over.

Location and Transport
Located around 6 miles (10 kilometres) from the city centre, Sofia Airport serves as a hub for Wizz Air, Ryanair, Bulgaria Air, BH Air and Bulgarian Air Charter. The airport is connected to the city centre via the Sofia Metro Line 1, with journeys taking around 18 minutes. Ticket machines are located at the airport metro station. The 84 bus also runs between the city and airport terminals and journeys last around 45 minutes.

It’s in a quiet village zone outside Sofia very close to the airport and has parking at the hotel which I must say is a very big bonus as I insure you after landing you don’t want to try to negotiate the traffic in Sofia .

1.5 days for Sofia seems just right.
1.5 days for Sofia seems just right. If I had more time I would have gone to Plovdiv and Banska.
I attended a walking tour of Sofia - it was excellent and our guide, Martin, was marvelous. I have learnt a lot, and very strongly recommend joining it!

All the main sites of interest are within a very small area...
All the main sites of interest are within a very small area of the city. Take a guided walk and you will be surprised at how far back the history of Bulgaria goes. It is also helpful to learn a bit more about the Orthodox religion and the meanings of the icons.
The town centre is pedestrianised, which gives the place a relaxed feel.
Go for a walk after dark as a lot of the old churches, in particular the main cathedral, are beautifully illuminated.

I only had a few days in Sofia but would highly recommend. Loved the buildings, the galleries, churches and shops . The food was good too!!!
The metro was easy to use but spent most of my time there walking about…. soaking up the vibe!!
