We feared upon arrival that this place might be noisy as this is near the Medical university and as it seemed, a hospital too, but we couldn't have been more wrong. The rooms are splendid, clean bathroom, working air conditioning, silent area. All that was listed, we got provided. The check in desk clerks were helpful and nice, no matter if I asked them about Sofia in general, or some help with the air conditioning, they were always available to help, gladly even.

Sentro Botique Hotel was a phenomenal place to stay in Sofia city center. Located only steps away from Sofia’s central pedestrian street with dozens of shops and restaurants and mere minutes on foot from the majority of the city’s major tourist sites, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Add on the fact that the rooms were beautifully designed, perfectly clean, and well equipped and the hotel staff was as helpful and nice as could be and we were more than satisfied with our stay!

I would 100% reccomend this hotel, at the price we paid the expectations was extremly exceded. It was super clean that for the first time i felt ok to walk around the room in my socks. Hotel was super clean all over, the desin is very modern and spacious, we could see it was just built. This hotel was the best one I have seen this this price range that I have ever experienced in Europe. Lastly, the breakfast was just amazing, different types of ham, cheese, juices an even ice cubes. Very special. thank you to all the staff

Sofia is a beautiful city!

Sofia is a beautiful city! It has a lot of parks, prices are really good, and people are very welcoming and nice. The metro is efficient, but you still can easily walk everywhere – it is worth it, because there are a lot of very nice historic buildings around. The city is overall very safe, even if you travel alone. The landscape is breathtaking, with Sofia being surrounded by the mountains. Fell in love with the city!

Very green city, the metro lines are very very good and easy to use them, people needs little more practice for the english language and to be little bit more happy. About the places for sure you need to visit Sofia and Plovdiv and you need at least 2-3 days for each area.

Sofia is a city that reveals itself slowly.

Sofia is a city that reveals itself slowly. On the surface, it feels calm and understated, but once you start walking around, you begin to notice how many different layers it has. Wide streets, open squares, and a mix of architectural styles make the centre feel surprisingly spacious. One moment you’re looking at impressive Orthodox domes, and the next you’re passing Roman ruins or buildings from the communist era. It’s a combination you don’t see often, which makes Sofia worth visiting. 5 reasons why Sofia is worth visiting 1. The architecture is surprisingly beautiful 2. The history runs deep 3. It’s an affordable European capital 4. You can see a lot in a short amount of time 5. It’s not overrun with tourists If you travel for big WOW moments, Sofia may feel subtle. I liked the Vitosha Boulevard, the historical buildings and the many restaurants and bars. Good public transport, pretty cheap. Good connection with airport. The wider Sofia area is certainly worth exploring. The day before departure I went to the Rila monastery which should be on the top of any visitor's list. The mountain area is also worth a visit if you like nature. You can reach the area within one hour.

What a discovery!

What a discovery! I was delighted with the city - many beautiful buildings and open spaces, interesting museums, cafes (with defaf coffee and vegan milks normal). As a small city, the old part is easy to walk around.
