Amazing hotel, really clean and modern. Such nice people working there. Everything is made for you to feel at home. I am travelling a lot around the word and this was a very nice expérience. Good breakfast. The bed is comfy. You get water, tea & coffee in the room. Quiet place, near from center by foot, metro or taxi. The owner of the hotel is so nice. It’s a 10.

Friendly staff, the room was really nice and clean, breakfast was very good. It was a very nice surprise that there was a fridge in the room! At first it seemed like there wasn't that much to do around this location but it turned out that there were lots of nice restaurants, a huge park, a market, all within walking distance. We could have spent a lot more time here. We were really glad that we chose this hotel for our stay in Sofia.

The food (and the beer) was delicious.

The food (and the beer) was delicious. The transportation was easy to understand. I liked how they incorporated ancient sites with modern life -you can exit the metro station and walk through a dig site for example. Vitosha Boulevard is fun to walk through and see what's around. The people were very rude. The landmarks were nothing interesting as someone who's been to most of Europe before going there. It feels outdated in some aspects, I felt like I was walking in 2010.

Very rude people.

Very rude people. They do not speak English and refuse to help you. It is not worth staying for more than 2–3 days. Sofia has a nice city center, but nothing particularly special. I would not go there again.

A wonderful European city full of arts, history and places...

A wonderful European city full of arts, history and places to relax. World-class opera house and company. Dozens of rep theatres (if you understand the language). World-class art galleries. Breath-taking artefacts and ancient treasures in the museum of archaeology. UNESCO-listed Renaissance frescoes in the Boyana church 150 years before Giotto.

I went to Sofia from Friday afternoon to Monday morning, would highly recommend it Public transport is very good and easy to use, easy to navigate Amazing history, anyone thinking of going I definitely recommend walking tours (I went on 2 different ones) Staria Chinar - vintage restaurant, must go to restaurant, book it beforehand, lamb there is amazing We also did some hiking, the trails are not marked great but it’s still worth going and view on the Sofia is amazing Good transport from the airport, terminal 1 is a bit further away but there is a shuttle bus that can get you you there Plenty of street art worth seeing (or the bar without electricity with great history) Did not hit the museums apart from the red flat, where you have a tour of what it was like in 1980’s with an audio tour, and you can literally touch everything etc.

Well, I can't be very objective.

Well, I can't be very objective. I was born in Sofia, and I feel there AT HOME. Very interesting city, with very long and interesting history, many cultures have left their presence there. The metro is very useful, and there are plenty of other options to rich every site. A vibrant cultural life. And - the last, but not the least - very tasty food!

We were in Sofia for the world-renowned Wagner festival at the opera house. This year's festival included the Ring cycle, Tannhauser and Lohengrin. The productions were critically acclaimed. Other must-see places are the exquisite collections of the museum of history and the museum of archaeology and the UNESCO-listed Boyana church, birthplace of rennaissance art 150 years before Giotto. Dinner recommendation: Cactus restaurant on Solunska St., probably the only eatery in the city seriously deserving (but overlooked for) a Michelin star.

This boutique hotel is a highlight of a city trip to Sofia, offering warm and welcoming comfort in clean and stylish rooms. They feature everything travellers need for a couple of days, including amenities for tea / coffee. It is cozy to hang around in the common lounge room, having (self bought) breakfast or just a coffee. The staff is very friendly and also open for a talk about nowadays Bulgaria.

Great location, especially if you are visiting other places in Bulgaria. It is very close to the bus station and train station (north), and 15' to 25' from the center (bus, tram, or on foot). there is a Lidl and a metro station 5-10'. Also, decent breakfast, and great facilities. Plus, Zoki warehouse is nearby and hosts great music events, for music lovers :)

The hotel room is huge. Toilet is clean. Bed is comfy enough. There's TV, air-conditioning, coffee and good Internet to make your stay well. Central sofia is 25mins by walk. Just outside the hotel there's a lovely canteen/resto that serves home-cooked bulgarian food and prices are cheap! The breakfast selection was nice!
