The Breakfast was excellent. It was home cooked, tasty and definitely value for the money spent. Not to mention, Jar and Lis bought it over to us nice and hot and good. I could not ask for better hosts!

We were conveniently picked up from the water taxi terminal about 25 minutes from the apartment, which was an added bonus. The room was nice and our host Rudolph drove us to a local restaurant and even picked us up an hour later. He even found coconut tarts we had inquired about! The ride to the airport was quick and convenient. Great experience!

Their rooms are super nice and brand new. We loved that they offered a nice full sized shower, free wifi, a TV, fridge, stove, plates, cookware,etc. They really blew our expectations especially because we were fighting to find a safe place to stay during hurricane/tropical storm Sara. They even went so far as to drive us to the grocery store so we could have some food and drinks. Absolutely the nicest people we have ever met in Belize! Their property is so beautiful with a river with tilapia and turtles!!

We had a really wonderful and restful time at this BNB. The bed was large and comfortable, hot shower, AC worked well, tv and fridge in the room, pool was right outside our door! And these are just the basics. Cathy goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need during your stay. She drove us to the store for groceries, showed us all of the local restaurants near by (even though she also serves excellent food!) and offered to coordinate any tours or trips we wanted to take over the weekend. We ate breakfast here every morning and one dinner, each portion was large and breakfast included a French press to ourselves and fresh juice!
Our stay truly felt like staying with family, we were so well taken care of for our last weekend in Belize. Thanks for everything Cathy and Vinny!

It’s a good launching point for the islands or tours around the region to see Mayan ruins. It’s a safe city, although poor by western standards. I hadn’t traveled in the developing world for awhile and I had to adjust seeing the daily poverty. Beautiful, friendly people and we always had a good meal!

We did not stay in Belize City, but out in Burrell Boom. It is a bit out of the way, but very peaceful. Our destination was Punta Gorda, so we used Kenny’s shuttle service to get there. What a great experience, seeing the area on the way, with a bathroom stop half way. Very comfortable trip.

Belize is a country with much to offer, from excellent cuisine and superb beachfront restaurants to wonderful excursions like Old Belize, the Governor's House, and its various museums. It's also the starting point, just an hour away, for Mayan temples, Caribbean beaches, and the Cayes islands, where you can take excursions to explore the marine life of the Great Barrier Reef.

Very short drive from BZE airport. A wonderful oasis of trees, shoreline, and amenities in a natural setting just outside the rather ugly/sketchy Belize City. Great value, friendly welcoming staff. A really neat property on the ocean and the river, with mangroves, palms, birds, lizards, and friendly pups. Pool was nice, and free kayak use was a great perk. Onsite restaurant was able to provide gluten-free for one celiac in our group. Also staff was helpful arranging airport shuttle and SUV rental for us.
