Brand new and beautiful property. We were the very first guests and were treated like royalty. The suite was beautiful, clean, very spacious and perfectly located. 10/10 loved it.

I stayed here on a solo trip for 10 days and from the very first minute, everyone made me feel at home. I happened to arrive on a Monday when the locals host Trivia night, so it was a great chance to meet other people (not just other travelers, but a lot of locals hang out at the bar/restaurant). Glenn at the bar was amazing. I wanted a relaxed vacation and it's exactly what I got. Also, the food at the restaurant is fenomenal! Go for the full lobster, you won't regret it!
The beach was clean, they have a team clearing up the seaweed before sunrise. Speaking of sunrise, I got up at 6am every morning to watch the sunrise at the beach, and the hotel has the coffee out ready for you to drink it as you rise. I honestly can't wait to come back, it was the home away from home!

The quality of the meals was very high and the quantities were more than adequate at times. The room was very quiet especially considering the resort is located on a relatively busy road and very close to the local airport The location was very close to local stores to buy snacks, drinks including wine all within a couple of minutes walk. It was also very close to the local gym, again a short walk. The site had its own diving and fishing facilities. The staff were all very friendly.

I like that there are golf cart services right off the water taxi and that the island's layout is easy to explore. There is a variety of food vendors and restaurants, and there are events known by many, such as the Lobster festival popular event held yearly in different parts of Belize.

San Pedro has a lot of amazing things to offer - snorkeling, scuba diving, relaxing on the beach, boating, eating amazing seafood, Caribbean rum, and incredibly nice locals. For all of these reasons, I have visited many times and will continue to return.

The main reason for coming to San Pedro was to go snorkelling.
We did this and it was mostly excelllent but beware there is a very strong current out near the reef and there are so many groups snorkelling it is easy to lose the group you are with.
For an easier and less busy snorkelling experience I would go to Mexico Rocks first, it's only a few miles North of the main area and you still get to see Rays, Nurse sharks, turtles and loads of fish.
The big problem with Ambergris Caye and lots of the Caribbean in general is the Sargassum which makes the beaches unuseable at certain times of the year.
Even if it has been cleared off certain sections of beach by your resort you can still smell the decomposing Sargassum nearby which has a foul rotten egg stench.
From what we've seen and read this problem is getting worse each year.
