Very Clean room with Vintage decor. Nice private patio in back. Refrigerator and coffee maker in the room and microwave in the hallway. 2.4 km from trail. Great Value!. Very nice owner made eggs to order.

Lovely helpful staff. We stayed in both the teepee and tiny house. Both lovely! ( The tiny house more comfy, with electricity and wifi...the tipi cozy and muy rustico.
The area is amazing with a great little hike to a lovely viewpoint over the lake.
Highly recommended!

Super convenient for accessing the bike trail, theme rooms were really well done and made the stay fun. Staff were very sweet and accommodating. The restaurant was delicious and the breakfast in the room was such a lovely touch. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious and very clean. What a lovely spot!

I wanted to give them 5 for the fact of not being honest. I booked this place to bring my friends to enjoy the last part of the winter and have a chimney to remember old times. What is my surprise that when we try to find the information to make it work and I call the person in charge they told me it doesn't work!!! It totally ruined my trip and I told the lady that they could let us know in advance.
But because I am not like them and I am honest I can tell you that the place is super beautiful and worth it (if u don't mind the chimney which is the main spot for winter). You will find everything you need to cook, and there are table games, sound system, terrace, etc. I believe is a great spot for a couple.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful chalet with my friends and family. The chalet was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities one could need. Kids-friendly. The host was friendly and attentive, making sure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible without being overbearing. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would highly recommend this chalet and its host, Karin, to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

My recent stay with Francois at La Macaza turned out to be a...
My recent stay with Francois at La Macaza turned out to be a real letdown. Even though I booked the apartment three months ahead, things took a nosedive just a day before we were supposed to arrive.
Everything seemed okay until the property owner emailed to check our arrival time. When I said we'd be there by 6pm, Francois said that wouldn't work because check-in was only between 1pm and 2pm. I tried to work out another time, but he just shrugged me off and told me to sort it out with the booking site.
Long story short, Francois didn't stick to the agreement, and we ended up losing all our money. It's really disappointing how La Macaza cares more about making money than keeping their word. They make it too easy to take advantage of people.
Bottom line: My experience with La Macaza was a big disappointment, and I'd warn anyone thinking of staying there to reconsider and look for somewhere else that's more reliable.
