We visited the Empress of Ireland museum and would recommend it to all, unfortunately the submarine was closed and that was disappointing. Don’t visit on a Monday, the restaurants are closed in Rimouski

We could walk from the hotel to the many restaurants as well...
We could walk from the hotel to the many restaurants as well as along the waterfront for daily sunsets. We drove to the recommended attractions (parc du Bic, route des monts notre dame, Portes de l'enfer)
With good sunny weather, we had a relaxing four days of local tourist fares

You have to learn French. Seriously.
You have to learn French. Seriously. I repeat, you have to learn a lot more French than the survival French you think you are good with. They speak so fast. They understand your shitty French but you don't understand them. Townspeople are very nice people. Bring coins for bus. Transit App may not work. Cell signal is bad sometimes. Take a paper map for free at Bureau Tourisme. Taxi is shit. Read Google reviews. Uber is unavailable, the app will try to match you with a driver then tell you there is a bug or error or no driver.
