Really friendly and chilled place. Angel and his wife Diosa were lovely and helped us to get everything we needed for a ferry trip we were taking to Brazil making life really easy for us. Also helped us to arrange local eco tours. Breakfast was also good, as was the refillable coffee and water filter for cold water whenever we needed it. Gracias Angel and Diosa!

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Held my large backpack for 3 days while I did an Amazon tour and organised a taxi in the morning back to the airport for me. L

It is an amazing place to stay. Really glad we had this experience of the river and local environs. The host was very helpful and took us out to view dolphins in the river and a walk to visit the nearby community. Keen to educate and share his experience of the region. We had meals cooked for us on board that were good and nutritious from local produce.

The place is amazing, with a great little farm, some local species of turtles and fish, swimmingpool and table games. It is, located outside the Leticia in a really calm and relaxing area. The people are so friendly, always willing to help. Euder and Sandra were fantastic! They help us organised tours, driving us around and making us a delicious breakfast!.The room are so spacious with everything that you need. Totally recommend this place for your stay in Leticia.

The highlight was the very friendly staff. I was injured during my stay and all the staff was very nice and helpful to try and help me get around and make my stay in Letícia as smooth as possible. The night manager Erica was particularly attentive and helpful. The shuttle serivice is also very reliable. I had the chance to meet the owner and could see the establishment is very serious in building strong reputation for great hospitality service in Letícia.

Allowed us to check in early. We arrived about 9.30am having come on a boat from Iquitos. The pool was amazing to cool off in. Beds were comfy with decent pillows.

Tabatinga - short tour Puerto Narino + Isla de Los Micos etc. - full day tour Jungle night walk - short tour Natural Reserva Marasha - full day tour. All of them were excellent and professionally managed. Highly recommended Manuel and Henry, as they made every effort to make our stay unforgettable.

We were genuinely and pleasantly surprised by this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner himself and felt truly cared for by the entire team throughout our stay. The property is beautiful – spacious, rustic in the best possible way, and maintained to an impressively high standard for this region. What stood out most was the discreet and attentive staff: always present when needed, without ever being intrusive. You can feel they genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. All tours were organized directly through the hotel – smoothly, reliably, and tailored to our preferences. Transportation was also fully taken care of, which made everything stress-free. The meals were freshly prepared with care and love – a lovely touch that added to the overall experience. The pool was a great spot to relax after our adventures in the jungle. No request was ever turned down – we truly felt at home. One thing is certain: the next time we return to the Amazon, we will stay here again!

Burú Nature Hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed — warm, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The ecohabs are breathtaking: spacious, beautifully crafted, and surrounded by pure Amazonian nature. The food alone is worth the trip. Every meal felt like a fine-dining experience, with flavors and presentation I’ve never seen before in the Amazon — absolutely extraordinary. What impressed me most was how effortlessly the hotel arranged everything: activities, private guides, transfers — all handled smoothly, allowing me to relax and truly enjoy the experience. If you’re visiting Leticia or the Amazon, Burú is without a doubt the place to stay. My only regret is not being able to stay longer but I will most definitely be coming Back!

Great location “middle of the Amazon”. Great buffet style food. Great tours everyday (buffalo ride $60.000, tres fronteras $200000, night walk $60000, bio park 60000, Amazonas experience $220000, canopy $100000). Lovely experience at monkey island.

The hostel is great and the location is near the airport which is super convinient! We enjoyed our stay and Marcela & Ali were really kind and helpful with everything. The first night we came really late, but Marcela made sure we reach the hostel safely and get all the necessary information. Highly recommended! Muchas gracias por todo! 🥰

Great value for money, lovely hosts who were very helpful!

Good value for money and very friendly host family. Small room, but with AC and bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price. Highly recommended!

As soon as we had arrived, the receptionist brought us glasses of cold, fresh orange juice. She also started organizing us field trips and booked a guide to tell more about the trips. Within an hour after our arrival, we had field trips ready to start. And all the people serving us in those trips were professionals and friendly. When we returned from our second trip (day + night in the rainforest), she prepared us a tasty breakfast.

It had most things you would expect in a hotel room.
