I have visited Costa Rica several times, but here I really experienced Costa Rica. The real charm of the place is that it is in a forest full of monkeys and other animals and really close to the river!! The location is excellent because unlike the noisy Santa Teresa and Monteza Zuma, here are the only gas station and supermarket in the whole area and other necessary things, but you are completely in the forest and it is not noticeable. The house is about a 10-15 minute drive to any destination you choose in the area. The house itself is very spacious and clean, I didn't need more than that. Our host Liz was very friendly and helped us with everything. We will be back!

The pool was a great addition to come back to after a day in the ocean and a dinner out. We just relaxed in the quiet of the pool-- loved it.

Irene, the manager was extremly helpful and did not hasitate to help us with bus tickets and offered free laundry as well! The Los Caballos is located a bit outside of the busy Montezuma. There is no traffic noise audible, and believe it or not, they have perfect road signs leading you to the place which is quite unusual in Costa Rica. After staying in Montezuma several times I would highly recommend this lovely place!
