We loved our stay at Casa Luna. We had rented a car, so it was conveniently located. It was close to all the excursions we planned, as well as grocery stores and restaurants, yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised by how much natural light filled the house, and we had plenty of privacy. The house is perfect for a couple. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi tub, and everything in the house felt like new. I was surprised to see how long the listing has been available because the owners clearly take great care of the place. The owner is amazing. Coming from the U.S., I was initially concerned about a listing that requested cash at the start of the stay, but I’m so glad I was wrong. She met us in person, gave us a tour of the house, answered all our questions, and made us feel completely at home. She even went above and beyond. After I left without buying a stand for a postcard, she took care of it for me. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Arenal. If you’re on the fence, rent the place. You won’t regret it.

Highly recommend this lovely family-operated property! The owners care about making your stay special and go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful vacation. Our room fit our family of five. Wow! This place was exceeding all of our expectations! The room is big, sparkly clean, large beds, great cooks (tasty breakfast), and the garden is the best… we had a room with outdoor kitchen and outdoor Jacuzzi we enjoyed a lot! And the price is great. I also like it that is it a bit outside of the super touristic area of La Fortuna (especially the town felt unsafe…). Everythis is just WOW! I highly reccomand you to book the Cacao tour with them! So plan it in your calender:)
