Generally quiet, even next to the highway. We were greeted by the owner's two teenage sons. Clearly managers in training. The kitchen beside the pool was well equipped for our breakfast of cold cereal. There is a hot plate and BBQ which we did not try out. Both beds were pushed against the walls. We were able to move the double bed away from the wall and use the side chair so both sides of the bed could have a bedside table of sorts. Towels are thick, soft.and absorbant. Shower is slow to heat but then warm.

Muna Santa Rosa Apartamentos is a recently renovated apartment in Tamarindo where guests can make the most of its pool with a view and garden. A solarium is available for guests.

The location was good! It was easy to find parking in front of the property. Our favorite parts were the friendly staff, the amazing traditional breakfast, the pool, and the overall layout of the building and rooms. It was very cute!

Omar, the owner/manager was the sweetest and most helpful person. I got a free upgrade to a room with a private bathroom which I really appreciated. The kitchen is well equiped and cleaned thoroughly daily by the staff. The hostel is located right across the street from a beach access path so it takes about 2 minutes to get to the beach. Free drinking water is included. (The restaurant, Soda Buffet El Estero, in the parking lot of Tsunami is amazing!)

The property was very clean and beautiful! We loved lounging in the pool while our husbands prepared meals at the kitchen. The proximity to the beach is incredible! If you go to the café next door: get the cheesecake! The staff was incredible too, many thanks to Yorya ♥️

Great bang for your buck, and incredible vibes. Super short walk to the beach and an incredible restaurant connected right to the camp. Cleanliness was definitely above average for this type of surf, camp beach hostel. AC was super effective and made the room super comfortable at night or if you needed a break from the heat mid day. Definitely recommend the surf lesson, instructor was the best I've seen and will get you standing first try. He goes through a ton of information and it's clear the class is geared towards making you a good surfer and giving you the tools to continue to work on it yourself. Plus the class included rental for the rest of the day which was amazing. Surfing at sunset is a must.
