As for Larnaca itself, it’s a lovely city with a relaxed atmosphere. There aren’t too many hotels – most accommodation options are apartments, which I personally see as a big plus. It’s also not as crowded as places like Ayia Napa, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for a quieter, more laid-back stay.

I love the Town with all her cafés and restaurants. The beach walk from The Marina up to McKenzie Beach. A nice guided bus trip in the Town and neighborhood and opportunities to take tours all around the Island.

One of my favourite places on earth. During the day you can explore the city, cultural sights, shop, eat, sunbathe and swim. There are some other beaches not too far (McKenzie). And at night there is always some form of entertainment, restaurants, partying. It has everything you want and need.

A good place to spend the autumn - airport is close to the centre, the city beach is fine and if you are not afraid to drive on the left, you can rent a car and visit beautiful Aya Napa, mountains and monasteries.

Larnaka is the forgotten Cypriot resort, with everyone heading to Ayia Napa and Protoras. People don't realise that before these resorts came into existence Larnaka was the East coast resort. It has great beaches, restaurants and bars and is a vibrant town, with many historical landmarks. It is great to visit off season when the resorts further East become ghost towns as it is a fully functional Port city.
