Very clean and modern apartment, with floor heating. Photos are very accurate. There's also a big and nice garden but we didn't use it because of the rain. The location is 20min away from Dusseldorf but the quality-price cannot be better.

I visited this city the first time I was on business and then I took a vacation before returning to Finland. It is a very wonderful city with a very charming and enjoyable atmosphere. There were many options for hotels but I chose this hotel because of its wonderful location from everything. I got a beautiful atmosphere there and the staff at the hotel are very wonderful. They love to provide everything for visitors. I had small problems but I really recommend this hotel for anyone who wants

Seeing the old places which I love and the house where my aunt and later,also my grandmother lived. Like to visit the hyper markets and the many parks and most of course,Burg Linn,the castle. Nice to walk beside the Rhein and to visit the Zoo.

Neuss was a nice place, to be honest, I still don´t know if it is the part of Dusseldorf or not. However, Neuss is at the bank of the river and pretty beautiful. I stayed with my wife and two kids, and had a wonderful time in there. I would go there again some time.

Industrial city with a cute town center, practical downtown shopping with great bargains in terms of top brands for reasonable price. Top rcuisine and restaurants are rare. I highly recommend Lehmanns restuarant for its charm, quality and high-end cuisine.

Authentic, German experience with little or no tourists.Charming town, old architecture, pedestrian streets. Many friendly, non English -speaking people. Slow pace of life, many bicycles, retired people. Forest walks, (favourite place: Stadwald forest and lake with beergarden wth fabulous food) Also nice is Cosmopolitan garden irestaurant in Krefeld centre with a variety of dishes including Indian (Sri Lankan chef). Also lake swimming, Shopping also good. Dussledorf 30 mins by tram. You can walk around centre easily.

The hotel was close to the River Rhine: there runs a lovely walk along the Rhine under mature trees, so it's shady and comfortable, with really nice views, it's inviting to sit and watch the ships go by, large meadow areas for children to play
the town has all facilities, plenty of different shops in the pedestrianised road running from the station to the market square, restaurants, cafe's, ice cream parlours

The Star Wars museum was the reason to go to Monchengladbach...with 2 teenage kids who love star wars it was a great weekend.
The Hotel (Leonardo) was 5 minutes walk to the museum where we spent 2 hours looking at all the exhibits... some were better than others... bur the kids really enjoyed it. Afterwards we went to the big shopping center called Minto which was 8 .inutes walk from the museum. It is huge with many shops on 4 levels...a food court to suit every taste...again happy kids!!
On previous trips we were in Duisberg which has a fantastic free open air museum called landschaft... if you like industrial thing... or you have kids.. it is a perfect place and not roo far away (45 mins drive)...
Combining the star wars museum and landschaft is very doable in a weekend - even though we did it on different vacations.

It's a small town away from the busy city centre of Dusseldorf. Its a town that is full of its own history and heritage. English not commonly spoken here but they will understand you. A town that is full of arts & culture such as "CLEMEN SELS MUSEUM & CHURCH"..if its something that you are looking for. Transportation coverage is quite good.
A town that has both cultural and modern amenities to look for.
Culturally; there are museums and famous old buildings that you can see. Modern...there are places that you can shop such as a mall and some shops that offer products at an affordable pricing. Bring your own bag to keep the stuff you bought as no bags are given for your purchase.
Its very quiet on SUNDAYS with 90% of the shops and malls are closed. Just few eateries that is open and probably will be closed by about 4pm on sunday. Most days..the town will come alive around 10am and sleeps by 5pm. So plan your day there well.
Do look out for the clock songs that will play in the afternoon. there are 2 buildings that has a clocks with bells that sings & rings.
I tried some pastry at this "OEBEL CAFE". i tried the bacon&egg sandwich ...and its tasty.
Just like any other city's or town that you go too; you got to be careful with your belongings.
