We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport; essentially after a long day of travel to Dominica, we just wanted a quick taxi ride to a hotel to relax and unwind. The hotel was a great choice for this. We were there in mid-February 2025 and there was evidence of a 'former glory' (prior to a hurricane, perhaps) in the form of an outdoor courtyard, bar and stage. There was construction in process and I have hopes for a bright future for this facility as the entire staff was extremely welcoming, attentive and informative. Since there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, we requested a dinner there, which was superb as was the breakfast the following morning. After breakfast, we walked about 45 minutes, mostly downhill and quite scenic, back to the airport to get a rental car and began our exploration of Dominica. Some travelers might choose to do it differently and immediately leave the airport area to 'see the sights'. I have no regrets; primarily because of the friendly staff at the Classique International.

From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional, even offering a thoughtful airport pickup and insider tips on the best local spots. Their genuine warmth and hospitality made my trip unforgettable. Whether you’re seeking a romantic escape, a solo adventure, or a rejuvenating workation, this haven has it all. Mornings began with the soothing whisper of leaves and leisurely coffee on the patio, immersed in nature’s embrace. My only regret? Not staying longer! I’ll undoubtedly be back on my next visit to Dominica—this place is perfection
