We had a sudden change of travel plans and this place really helped us out last minute. We had been rerouted and would be landing in La Coruña at midnight with nowhere to go after traveling for 36 hours. Alberto connected with me on whatsapp and arranged for online check-in so we would have a place to rest before continuing our journey the next day. Truly heaven sent. We were so grateful to be able to shower, rest, and have a nice breakfast. Self check in was easy. The hotel very clean, very comfortable, and everyone was very kind. They we able to get us a taxi right away. It really saved us, and we are so grateful. Gracias Alberto!

Everything about our stay was lovely. Our room looked out over the gardens and the city beyond. The staff helped us get a last minute reservation at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. There is a gated parking area next to the hotel for cars. We were able to walk through the property and we explored a local park across the street. The staff also helped us to arrange a taxi very early in the morning so that we could get to the airport in time for our flight home.
Since they were about to close for the season, we were the only guests sleeping in the main hotel so we had a very quiet stay. The other guests were in the apartments and far enough away that we did not hear or interact with them. The pool was also closed for the season but looked nice.

The hotel was very close to the airport, and we were arriving fairly late, so the auto-check in was convenient for us. We even managed to get a bus part of the way from the airport!
The hotel was just what we expected, clean, warm and convenient. Having food available in the morning from the machines was also helpful, as we left early. I paid for a pack of cheese from the machine, which got stuck on the way down, but was happy to see that my card had been refunded when I returned home. Wonderful!

Santa Cruz is a small, quiet cove with views of the city/port - A Coruna in North West Spain. The staff in the few local restaurants were very helpful and the prices of meals/drinks very reasonable. The local community members were well behaved and we were pleased to see families enjoying their Sundays together. We enjoyed the local school of music demonstrating their talents. The coastal walk was excellent. We are a senior couple not looking for evening entertainment, however we are sure that a bus ride into the City (A Coruna) would provide more night life.

A Coruna was perfect for a 4 night holiday. We enjoyed exploring the town and coast by foot from our appartment on 2 days. On our third day we took the train to Santiago de Compostela for a very worthwhile day-trip. The cathedral there is stunning. There were plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance from our appartment.

Arteixo is a thermal city in the neighborhood of Coruna.
Arteixo is a thermal city in the neighborhood of Coruna. It is also an economical and industial hub (Inditex/ Zara, Berksha, Pull&Bear). The coast in Arteixo is fully pedestrian and with numerous beautiful beaches. The sunset from there is magnificent.

Bicycles!
Bicycles! Love them, and there were always electric ones available. Had a blast just sightseeing around the city, I barely did any activities with all the cool places to look at. Beware of the tourism tax though, it is not that much money, but it did catch me by surprise.
