This is right above the airport, but airplane noise is not a big problem: planes are small and only 2 or 3 per day. The planes are interesting to watch and the sea beyond is lovely. And it's a short drive there too. The house was very clean, the kitchen pretty well equipped and a thoughtful set of spices and herbs are very useful. The bed is very comfy too. The design, with 1 large bedroom, is spacious and pleasant. John was really good. Replacing the old Spanish language TV with a new Smart TV ,- now lots more programmes available, and Utube in many languages. Parking is good. The 'Christmas cake' look of the house didn't detract from our very happy stay.

La Candia y el Mar is a recently renovated country house in Valverde where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, garden, and terrace. Absolutely everything!! Maria is a very kind and helpful host, and her house is a pure gem! One of the best places where we have ever been. We couldn't have asked for more. Perfect location as well to explore the islands, with a few minutes driving from the harbour, airport and Valverde center. We'll definitely plan to stat again at La Candia y el Mar!
