Simply everything was perfect: the overall location with the breathtaking views; different types of accommodations available (our double tukul was upgraded to one full tukul ;-); the bar on the cliff with mesmerizing sunsets; extremely friendly, helpful and always smiling staff, the beautifully decorated rooms, tasty food. The hotel owner also organized a car with a driver and a guide for the full three days, and both of them were wonderful (Driver Gashaw and Guide Maereg). We stayed three days with our 3 children to have enough time for visiting all the 11 churches, complete the hiking to the Asheton Maryam Monastery, see the village and have time to simply enjoy the peace over there.

The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Habte is fluent in English and helps me to arrange the airport shuttles in and out. It was a great experience for me. Tedy helped with last minute flight changes including paying for them while we were out of town which we then paid him for on our return. There are 2-3 places to eat very close by, especially recommend Kana.
