Manager and all the staff at Malvina & restaurant are top notch! Beyond friendly and go out of their way to make sure to attend to customer. Wifi is a bit slow but that is expected being so remote in this world. Would stay again without question.

The dorm-style accommodation is my preference because the people staying are of similar persuasion: desiring simple, clean, comfortable, and casual space, with no formality or set schedules. Much like university dorm life: walking the hall in pajamas, going to breakfast in slippers. The showers and toilets were kept immaculate. Laundry, packed lunches, notices, were punctually delivered. I was on first-name hello with the staff from check-in to check-out. It was pleasant to sit in the cafeteria and chat with local working people: farmers, fishermen, construction workers, and get the skinny on day-to-day life. Lookout Lodge is adjacent the only service station in town and the only ATM in town: a supper plus. And, Rose’s Cafe.”, also adjacent, is a very pleasant space for morning coffee and cake.
