This DoubleTree by Hilton is set a 7-minute walk from Edinburgh Airport. It features a sauna, a gym and a fine restaurant. Was clean and quiet, the bar on the lobby, the room very spacious and the bathroom large. I loved that the restaurant’s staff were from my country and was great to speak with them.

Next to Edinburgh Airport, the award-winning Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport offers a chargeable 24-hour shuttle service and rooms with showers. Central Edinburgh is 15 minutes’ drive away. Very nice staff at the reception.

Lovely food and staff were exceptional - nothing was too much trouble Hotel in lovely grounds outside Edinburgh but tram into town and park and Ride were a good way to explore the City Centre Rooms were well appointed

If you want to feel like royalty, stay here your last nights before flying out of EDI Airport. If you always look up when you hear an airplane engine, this is a little spot of heaven. The property is equipped with a central sound system for those who aren't thrilled with the sound of planes, so no worries about noise pollution intruding upon the peace and tranquility. If you have the soul of a daydreamer .... book this property and you will never regret your choice! I didn't get to light fires in the two fireplaces so a return trip is due to experience that bit of magic! Many thanks to the incredible hosts for making this property available to the hopeless romantics and perpetual daydreamers of the world....
