The property is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, very clean, and extremely comfortable. There were even snacks provided in the room, and the check-in process was quick and hassle-free. The host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help me — they assisted me in finding another property, checked in on me, and even offered me a ride. No breakfast is provided but there are plenty of coffee, tea, milk, sugar, cookies. The flat has a fully fitted kitchen, wonderful bathroom, linens, towels, spotless! This is my second time staying there...it is my place when traveling from Gatwick.

So easy and relaxing! Room was wonderful, restaurant was fairly priced and easy! Shuttle to the airport was PERFECT and runs like every 20 minutes. Staff was so friendly. Just all around perfect choice.

I chose Little Foxes for its convenient location near the airport, as I had a layover and an early morning connecting flight. They offer a roundtrip shuttle service for £20, but I decided to turn my arrival into a bit of an adventure—taking Bus 200 for 13 stops to “Climping Road,” followed by a 35-minute walk to the hotel. At 4 AM, the pre-booked “Metorcar” service arrived right on time. The driver was incredibly kind, and I was off to the airport with ease. From the moment I arrived, Salim and the rest of the staff were warm, polite, and extremely helpful. My room was cozy, featuring a skylight that brought in a gentle breeze and a comfortable bed. The decor reminded me of my mother’s home, instantly making me feel at ease. The private bathroom was newly renovated and impressively clean. The Wi-Fi connection was strong, and the on-site restaurant was a lovely bonus—I enjoyed a delicious dinner outdoors before turning in for a restful night. Little Foxes was the perfect place to unwind during a layover, recharge, and get ready to travel again.

Location and Transport

Second only to Heathrow as the UK’s busiest airport, London Gatwick Airport welcomes over 40 million passengers every year. It is actually located in Crawley, 31 miles (50 kilometres) away, which may seem far, but travellers can reach the airport in half an hour via The Gatwick Express train. The service runs every 15 minutes from London Victoria Station between 05:00 and 00:30. There’s also the Thameslink Rail service, also running every 15 minutes from London Victoria and London Blackfriars train stations.

For nearby accommodation, you can find three hotels next to the North Terminal, and several cheaper options in Crawley and Horley (beside the North Terminal). Passengers with time on their hands before takeoff can shop in Duty Free, relax in cafés or the departures lounge and make use of the airport’s free WiFi. There are also prayer rooms, showers, medical centres and a children’s play area.

I saw the reviews and some were ok and some positive.

I saw the reviews and some were ok and some positive. I think reviews you need to take with a pinch of salt but I wish I had used a premier inn. The room was ok it was clean and well spaced. However the rest of the house was very shabby. The shared bathroom was falling apart no screen on the shower just a curtain that was too short. The garden which was the main attraction from the pictures as horrendous. It was not maintained not that I wanted to but all the barbque facilities were filthy and the garden looked derilict! The pool which the kids were realy excited about was filthy and freezing cold with broken chairs and even empty bottles of wine around it. The cleaner met me and she was lovely and very helpful but didn’t know any details just where the room was and anything else was unknown. Not her fault she was lovely but a proper check I. Would have been useful. There was no where to get hot water for tea no milk for breakfast all In all I would not go back.

I haven’t been to Gatwick for a good few years.

I haven’t been to Gatwick for a good few years. I normally use Bristol, it took an age to get there from Cornwall, but we had a good nights sleep in the Bloc hotel. Unfortunately our flight took Cape Verde was delayed by two hours. So we had a good walk around Gatwick to pass the time.

Found it very grand,but for an excellent price,& facilities were spot on for an overnighr stay,we have booked it again for our upcoming holifay & this time we are using the long term car park facilities also

No one visits Copthorne.

No one visits Copthorne. It's a great place to stay for accessing Gatwick airport, Crawley town or Sussex in general. Copthorne itself has nothing to offer. It is a fresh food desert, so stock up before you arrive or head into Crawley for an excellent range of food shops.

2 bookings 8th and 23rd November, on arrival 8th, building in darkness except for one small light, rang the bell after several minutes a young woman came to the door and showed us to a family room with no private bathroom even thought we had booked en- suit. Too tired to argue after a long stressful day of travel so just accepted it, shared bathroom down the hall. Slept a few hours and had an early flight, temperature in the room at 05,00am 14 degrees c, went to bathroom for a shower 11 degrees c, skip the shower. We had planned to stay here again on our return journey and everything was paid in advance but because of this experience we decided not to and tried to cancel but they have a 30 none refundable policy so ended up paying for a superb 4x hotel which only costs about £20 more than Hazelwick but was in an all together other class. So an expensive night on our return, I had asked Booking.com to help with this situation as I've been a regular client of theirs for around 30 years, all they could offer was to write to Hazelwick asking if they would waive their none refund clause, I expected a better respons from them, hense I will no longer be using Booking.coms services for future trips

Of all my travel stays this was one of the worst.

Of all my travel stays this was one of the worst. It was dirty, NOT SOUND PROOF as listed, no coffee in room, owner was sexist, (treated me as a sole female traveler) very strangely, pillows and mattress were hard, bathroom was filthy ( see photos), and shower flooded. Disliked · I’ve never slept on hard pillows but that’s what was provided. No give, like pads of some sort. The bathroom was awful. Filthy, only one bath towel and no hand towel. The shower floor overflowed. Bed had weird stain on headboard. Breakfast was not that of a B & B. It was cheap cookies, cereal, tiny muffins. No danish or pastries, nothing even a little fancier. I was awakened at 1:30 AM by slamming door and yelling so “sound proofed rooms” is false information on listing. Lastly, the owner charged me £22 for a 5 min. ride to airport.

The hotel is dated but super clean and friendly. The rooms are of a good size although the bathrooms could use some work, hand rails for the bath/shower .The taxi service from the hotel and back again was on time in both directions. Download the app for your return and use it a baggage reclaim and your car will be outside for you.

It is the perfect overnight stop for those wishing to use the parking for Gatwick airport as it is literally a couple of hundred yards away from the Inn. We will use it any we have to arrive the night before a flight in the future.

Booking.com advised me to contact the host after our awful mis-sold stay with Joanne about possible reimbursement. She said she "would consider reimbursement, if I hadn't posted a review" then when she found out I had already done a review called me "manipulative and unkind" and blocked me from every platform

Excellent location for travelers. Relaxing environment. Warm and helpful staff. Pleasant, efficient and, courteous staff in the hotel and restaurants. Thoughtful necessities provided for travelers, in the bathroom, iron, ironing board, small refrigerator, safe to protect personal belongings. Additionally kettle, items for tea and coffee. Bottled water and glasses. I felt at home!
