Their rooms are spotlessly clean and well furnished. Meals were tasty. I really enjoyed my stay. I will go back to Best Lodge again and again. Betty and Zainab were particularly wonderful people who helped made my stay enjoyable.

This is a great stay in Tamale - outside the main centre so it is quieter but easy to get to the market or other areas if you need to. It was some of the details that made my stay special - the staff are amazing and go out of their way, breakfast was a step above what you normally get around Ghana with french press coffee, there was actual hot water, beds were comfortable and high tech lighting meant you could not turn on the full brightness when going to the bathroom in the night. Room was spacious, felt very safe as a solo traveller and wifi worked well. The rooftop bar/restaurant offers a nice view and breeze in the mornings and evenings.
