The kitchen was very well equipped, and had a large fridge. Large closets in the bedroom, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a private outside area for drying clothes.

The hostess Silke was really kind, flexible and easy to communicate with, quick to response.
The apartment is specious, with everything one may need. Silke left some fruits, bottle of mineral water. Mosquito nets are installed in windows and 2 balconies - not easy to find around.

Visited at the beginning of October and a lot of places beginning to close for the season. Town quiet but pleasant. Unfortunately the ferry to Agios Nikolaos does not run anymore so it’s a long drive if you want to visit

You have a beautiful view on the Sitia's Bay day&night.
This is a perfect place for sightseeing East Crete, close to Sitia with plenty of taverns in the port.

Very interesting village in the center of Sitia Natural Park...
Very interesting village in the center of Sitia Natural Park is like a ghost town. A lot of abandoned and rumbling houses, with a few houses for stay. The village is dying, but several people try to keep it alive hosting visitors and it really worth to visit. Possibly there are many interesting stories behind each house which would be interesting to listen - from family histories to village design and everyday life.
Also several georoutes for hiking are crossing the site, but there are a lot of fences blocking them. Possibly, for safety reasons.
Highly recommend to visit and see another side of Crete.

Everything was perfect. Nothing should change.
Everything was perfect. Nothing should change. The attraction of the area I love is Voila the middle ages deserted village. At Chandras central square of the village there are to cozy small restaurants with delicious recipes of the area. The place is rural, and comes from the past. It is a magic place.

The only problem i face every time i visit is that there's no direct flight from Cyprus to Sitia, which makes the trip quite difficult. I have to make two stops, and the bus connection is challenging, with a winding road and a tiring journey of 3 to 3 1/2 hours, witch i will really consider to go again just for that. Because i leave my house early in the morning and i arrive very late at night time to Sitia. AND THAT IS VERY TIRING!
