Maria and Fotis, the owners, are among the kindest and friendliest people we've ever met on our travels. From the very first moment, they made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality, genuine kindness, and effortless charm. The room was spotless, well-kept, and fully equipped — perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The balcony opened up to a lush, colorful garden filled with flowers — a truly idyllic scene that brought instant calm. During the early mornings, due to strong sunlight and some bees around the garden, it wasn’t always easy to sit comfortably on the balcony to enjoy our coffee — but honestly, this was just a minor detail that didn’t affect our overall experience at all. We were pleasantly surprised by little gestures in the room: local treats and authentic Kytherian flavors that we truly enjoyed. The property is in an ideal central location, making it easy to explore all parts of the island, while still offering absolute tranquility and quiet. Parking was also very convenient and hassle-free. The value for money was fantastic and far exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend Aloi Studio to anyone looking for a welcoming, peaceful, and beautiful place to stay on the island. Very cute small house in a quiet area. It was cool -no need for using the AC- well equipped and ideal for couples or a family with small kid. The house lady was polite and she kindly offered us some local fruits and vegetables. The location is also very convenient. Highly recommended place to stay.

I recently stayed at Casa Kombonada in the village of Friligianika, and it was an absolutely exceptional experience! The owner, Enrica, is incredibly helpful, welcoming, and truly goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The property is in a perfect location, right in the heart of Kythira. In my opinion, this place is an architectural gem that harmonizes perfectly with the local environment. The earthy tones, the textures, the ambient hidden lighting, and the rooms that preserve the traditional character of the village are just stunning. The lobby (a shared space) is a true sanctuary, featuring an amazing and diverse library. The pool and the outdoor area are equally unique and relaxing. As a bonus, there is an excellent local tavern called 'Kokkino Spaleto' just a few meters away, and the picturesque village of Aroniadika is only a 5-minute distance. Honestly, it is completely worth the money! I highly recommend it."

This place is a miracle. Spyros has converted this old family house into a guesthouse with a welcoming spirit. 3 apartments of different sizes are together without bothering each other at all. We stayed in the smallest, but it was still absolutely convenient and comfortable. The way it was renovated reflects and keeps the heritage and tradition of Kythirean architecture with the forms, shapes colours of the walls, chimneys, courtyards, but it is equipped with everything a 21st century visitor may need. The interior designer would deserve a prize for creating this special atmosphere. To explore each and every single beautiful and heartful detail is a joy. On the other hand, it gives you a constantly working strong Wi-Fi, air-condition, hot-water, cooking, ironing option, insulated windows. The bed is super comfy, the cleanliness is top, the cleaning lady is a very kind woman. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, nespresso coffee machine helps you in the mornings and a few coffee capsules are in the welcome pack. The provided local delicious olive oil and oregano deserve a special appreciation. You find the mugs and plates of the local family-owned ceramic workshop Roussos all across the place, another kind sign of inviting the local products into your home. Location is excellent for those who wish to explore the island owing to its central location in a very peaceful little mountain village called Logothetianika. Two supermarkets, and a gas station is close by, the nearest larger "town" Potamos is also easily reachable. Spyros has a long list of validated offers what to see in Kythira, where to go, scenic spots, beaches, where to eat, shop - all are in max 30 min. We just texted with him, could not meet, but there was an immediate connection and we could convey our congratulation. A few practical thing: the village is very small, the streets are very narrow, so a small car is recommended.

The location is near airport and harbor.

The location is near airport and harbor. It is also in the middle of Kythira making it ideal for exploring the island. Super market is less than 5 minutes by car. It is a quite place, there are a couple of restaurants, a cafe in nearby village, but if you want more nightlife options you can visit Potamos village (approx 10 minutes by car)

The sea is very calm, nice sandy beaches, water is very shallow so you can walk out farther than at other beaches. I saw many families with their children playing. The beaches have umbrellas with 2 beach chairs you can rent for the day for 15 euros. There are showers and changing rooms at each beach. And there are several restaurants around to easily get food or a snack. It is very walkable.

Agia Pelagia is in June a peaceful spot, ideal for those seeking alternative destinations and the authentic Greece—traditional and old-world. It has only few taverns but all are amazing. There is no vibrat nightlife here. It is a peaceful place—a spa for the body and soul.

We were glad to have 5 days to sink into Kythera.

We were glad to have 5 days to sink into Kythera. You need a car to really experience this amazing island. There is only one restaurant and one cafe in Dhiakofti, but they are both enjoyable places to eat. No night life, no souvenir stores, no shopping. A quiet, family-friendly beach town.

We love Agia Pelagia and stay here each time we come to...

We love Agia Pelagia and stay here each time we come to Kythera. There are loads of restaurants to eat at, we can swim here and it is the perfect place to base yourself as you will need to drive around Kythera to visit the sights/beaches/towns. It is my 4th time visiting and we’ll be back to stay at Romantica.

It's a very quiet, sleepy village.

It's a very quiet, sleepy village. There is only one taverna, with so-so food, but with tables on the beach, so that can be nice. It's a great place for kids and families. But for good coffee, bars, restaurants, good beaches, you need to drive somewhere else, like Avlemonas. There is nothing in Diakofti.

The perfect beach side holiday for those wanting to avoid hordes of tourists. Lots of options for eating out and all within easy walking distance. Plenty of nice beaches and a friendly, relaxing vibe everywhere we went. So many other attractions on the island that it's worth hiring a car - easy drive from Pelagia to Potamos, Kapsali and other beautiful locations on the island.
