Everything about the room was perfect - great view and balcony, clean and spacious room, comfortable bed and exceptional decoration. Very cute small house in a quiet area. It was cool -no need for using the AC- well equipped and ideal for couples or a family with small kid. The house lady was polite and she kindly offered us some local fruits and vegetables. The location is also very convenient. Highly recommended place to stay.

The location is near airport and harbor. It is also in the middle of Kythira making it ideal for exploring the island. Super market is less than 5 minutes by car. It is a quite place, there are a couple of restaurants, a cafe in nearby village, but if you want more nightlife options you can visit Potamos village (approx 10 minutes by car)

We were glad to have 5 days to sink into Kythera.
We were glad to have 5 days to sink into Kythera. You need a car to really experience this amazing island. There is only one restaurant and one cafe in Dhiakofti, but they are both enjoyable places to eat. No night life, no souvenir stores, no shopping. A quiet, family-friendly beach town.

It has only few taverns but all are amazing. There is no vibrat nightlife here. It is a peaceful place—a spa for the body and soul.

It's a very quiet, sleepy village.
It's a very quiet, sleepy village. There is only one taverna, with so-so food, but with tables on the beach, so that can be nice. It's a great place for kids and families. But for good coffee, bars, restaurants, good beaches, you need to drive somewhere else, like Avlemonas. There is nothing in Diakofti.

We love Agia Pelagia and stay here each time we come to Kythera. There are loads of restaurants to eat at, we can swim here and it is the perfect place to base yourself as you will need to drive around Kythera to visit the sights/beaches/towns. It is my 4th time visiting and we’ll be back to stay at Romantica.

From October to March this little hamlet rather than village shuts down; no bars or restaurants are open. The little shop or mini market is open randomly. If you are coming here in the off season, have a car so you can get to the next town or if you don’t bring water, milk, alcohol or food so you’re all set. During the summer I’m sure it’s a paradise; we just went on last regular ferry of the year. It’s quiet, beautiful at night and has gorgeous clear water. If you wanna go somewhere and just chill, I recommend.

The perfect beach side holiday for those wanting to avoid hordes of tourists. Lots of options for eating out and all within easy walking distance. Plenty of nice beaches and a friendly, relaxing vibe everywhere we went. So many other attractions on the island that it's worth hiring a car - easy drive from Pelagia to Potamos, Kapsali and other beautiful locations on the island.
