Great breakfast with great coffee. The room opened into the narrow balcony, which was nice but you have to remember that it shuts the heat off when you open the balcony door. The first two days were though as water leaked in the bathroom But they made it good in the end. Shower was great with 4 different jets of water hitting your body. The host and the hostess did try very hard as we stayed there for 5 days, Very close/ walking distance to the central square with restaurants and 3 grocery stores around the round about to replenish your supplies or snacks
Despite the irritations we had on the first day or two, the overall stay was great. Communicating problems in a helpful way resolves problems amicably. Just complaining in a mean way does not good.

I had a wonderful stay at this Appartment. The hosts were extremely friendly and always present if anything was needed. They made me feel very welcome and were truly warm people. Their daughters were absolutely the sweetest – such a lovely family atmosphere.
The apartment was well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was always cool inside, which was especially appreciated during the warmer days, and the entire property was spotless and very well maintained.
I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Kalamata is a well organized city with parks in the middle...
Kalamata is a well organized city with parks in the middle of downtown. Great for families with young children. Several cultural events take place i.e. we attended a documentary festival.
The part of the city by the sea has its own life.
During the olive picking period, it attracts many of the olive grove owners, who do not necessarily reside in Kalamata.
The city is very friendly to visitors.Public parking in the middle of the city provides convenient parking.

Nice little town with a beautiful central square with a modern playground and a lot of nice cafes and restaurants around it. Very close to the beautiful Bouka beach. It is in the ideal location for many excursions in the surrounding area, all the main tourist attractions are within 45-60 mins slow drive

Kalamata is a working city not just a tourist location.
Kalamata is a working city not just a tourist location. It is a great place to discover the Peloponnese from if one does not mind driving. The city's farmers' market was wonderful (Wednesdays and Saturdays).
It has a lot of great restaurants along the beach and the harbor. Walking around Old Town is a great place to spend a morning.

Kalamata is a wonderful, modern greek city. It has a decent population, nice long beach friendly for pedestrians and cyclists. There are also other beaches and seanic spots within an hour of Kalamata. There are ancient historic cites nearby, such as the nearby ancient city of Messene. The city blends a traditional feel in its Old Town, which climbs a castle hill, with modern infrastructure, and hosts cultural events like the annual Dance Festival. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, from exploring ruins and museums to water sports, hiking, and enjoying the local gastronomy.
