It is far from hustle bustle of main Shimla but we had very delicious food....done night walk in complex area....saw sunset on terrace of the hotel....Owner is also very humble......Will go there with whole family for enjoyment.....

please careful from tourist place car driver where do not used u ur own car. for Jacko temple and Kupri area local transport take money from u first after that they will drop u location but when the time of pickup they will take different customers. when they free then get ur car it will take at least 1 to 2 hour waiting after u complete ur visit. very careful from them and they are local if u told something they will misbehaved with u and ur family.

Kandaghat is middle place, from where you have 3 great tourist hill stations at equal distances : Shimla , Chail & Kasauli.
Kufri is at a distance, midway between Shimla & Chail.
So, if you are on bike or car from Delhi for shimla, please take a halt at Kandhaghat, may for a day and then start you journey next day with high energy.

DO NOT BOOK at OYO Hotel Divine Point, THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD. IT IS NOT FUNCTIONAL. Though on doing the booking, you will receive emails as if the booking is confirmed and they are waiting for you to arrive. But no staff is available and if you try calling the contact numbers mentioned, there is no response. The place Junga, though beautiful, is really remote a tiny village, amidst forests and you'll be in a difficult situation if you don't know any local person. The best option for stay is Flaghouse resort if available. It is a great getaway from urban life.

A place located at a very good location with a breathtaking view. However reaching there is little diffixult as last 5 kms is kaccha rasta and a difficult one. But they arrange for pick up and drop which helps a lot. Room beds could have been better.

Chail is nice place with good scenic beauty, however not much places to visit but a peaceful environment. The main attraction I liked was visit to Kali Tibba Temple.
Visit to Chail Palace was not so good they are charging so much amount but visitor can not get beyond ground floor reception hall.

Solan is a developed city now.
Solan is a developed city now. Try getting mountain view rooms with a balcony if you are looking for some peace and nature! You will get cafes easily and a lot of shops on mall road. Busses and auto rickshaws are easily available however the former is the cheaper option.

As I haven't traveled extensively, I may not be the best person to judge the destination itself. However, as someone who enjoys being close to nature, the place wasn't quite what I had expected. It felt more like a town or small city rather than a secluded natural retreat. That being said, this also means that facilities are easily available—food, transportation, and other essentials are convenient and accessible, making the stay comfortable for most travelers.

Chail is a place for those who love nature and want to be away from crowds and the noise of city life.
We enjoy walking and Chail has many walking treks in the forest.
We would love to go out into the forest and hear the sound of myriad birds and even get to see a few rare ones.
What is disappointing is that the Himachal Govt. can make this place more tourist friendly but they have failed so badly. Even maintaining the Palace in Chail which is in a remarkably beautiful location is so PATHETIC that one wonders why they charge Rs200 entry per person and all one sees is a palace that is worn down and has musty carpets and a sense of neglect all over. They could spruce up the place and attract so many people but i don't think they know how to be tourist friendly. Greatly disappointed with the Himalayan nature Park in Kufri where the animals were either not there or they looked half dead. Roads all over Himachal were bad and bumpy and it took us long to get from one place to another. Such a lot of potential for attracting tourism but enough is not done.

Solan has some good city parks about which no one talks, Jawahar park very close situated within walking distance.
Otherwise it is a base for out of solan visits into nearby locations like Kasauli, Shimla. Bus service to all tourist locations outside solan is easily available. Within city shared auto service runs on a designated pathway.
Solan is totally urbanized centre with not much greenery.
The visit to Jatoli Shiv Mandir was memorable with beautiful greenery and beautiful Mandir.
