We had a very comfortable and safe stay at Hotel Nakshatra Inn. Very courteous and helpful staff both at the reception and room service. They even helped us with booking cabs/Auto’s for our temple and restaurant visits. Rooms are very clean and well maintained.

I have been coming to Tuticorin for the past 20+ years and I...
I have been coming to Tuticorin for the past 20+ years and I have encountered only two kinds of visitors. Contractors working in the port, the power station, etc. and religious tourists who visit the temples around Tuticorin (not in the city itself). The city is decidedly unworthy of an visit. It is a commercial place with zero tourism. But it (and especially the GRT Regency hotel) are a good basis to visit sites in a 50km radius.
