Tungulending Guesthouse is the best place to stay in Iceland if you appreciate a quiet peaceful time and have come for the Icelandic nature. It is a little remote. My daughter and I had a marvellous time there and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. For us, it was magic. In summer, when the owners offer coffee and tea, try the homemade chocolate cake.

Surrounded by a fjord in the northern town of Siglufjördur, this hotel is 328 feet from Adalgata main street and 11 mi from Ólafsfjördur town center. Very helpful staff - especially Janeta from Slovakia who went above and beyond in trying to help me with my dead mobile phone! Great, cool design and fabulous art. The hotel is more boutique than I expected which was a bonus. I loved the Moroccan restaurant too. I'd definitely stay again and this time use the hot tub!

Offering a balcony and mountain views, the spacious apartment includes 2 bedrooms, a living room, flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen, and 1 bathroom... It is very spacious and well equipped. We ski toured with Scandic Guides and stayed in the apartment. We love the local bakery, info centre, grocery shop and pool. All was good. Weather extremely wild!!
