Stayed here for 3 nights along my way around the Ring Road to slow down and rest for a couple days. I stayed at a lot of cool places in Iceland and this was my favorite. Absolutely loved the location, the space itself, how cozy/comfortable it was and how quiet it was nestled in nature and 10 minute drive to Husavik. Large enough for a small family and small enough for solo traveler.

Boasting a sauna, Dimond cottage is situated in Laxamýri. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. A beautiful home. We truly enjoyed our stay — the house is spacious, comfortable, and perfectly tucked away in nature, which gave us the privacy and peace we were looking for. We also loved the outdoor seating and the cozy atmosphere overall.

Laxhús is situated in Laxamýri, 85 km from Akureyri. Free private parking is available on site. Husavik is 8 km away. All units feature a flat-screen TV. Some units have a seating area and/or terrace.... Absolutely adorable little cabin with sheep wondering around. So cute!!

Boasting mountain views, Vetursetur is set in Laxamýri, around 15 km from Husavik Golf Club. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. This cabin is not the most modern and chic but it felt so cosy and authentic. The lava formations around it were magical and it made for a great first base for us in Iceland and we stayed 2 nights - we really felt like we'd arrived somewhere really different. We love wildlife and were delighted to find a snipe on the porch on the first evening, loads of golden plover (including chicks), redwing and curlew. It was super cold when we arrived (weather obviously not the fault of the owner!) - about 4 degrees C in July, the wind was really going for it too - the small radiators were on and we quickly found the heater and were very cosy in no time. The bedrooms are very compact as is the bathroom but everything worked and was comfortable. We loved the inclusion of a good bean to cup coffee maker too. The location was excellent for days out in Husavik and Myvatn, we would have been happy to even have stayed a bit longer. It is off the beaten track, but the owner gave us super clear directions and we had no trouble finding it at all.

Set in Húsavík, within 42 km of Godafoss Waterfall and 4.4 km of Husavik Golf Club, Saltvík Farm Guesthouse offers accommodation with a terrace as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Great breakfast and reception (staff). Bedroom well equipped and super clean.

Situated within 30 km of Godafoss Waterfall and 37 km of Husavik Golf Club in Granastaðir, Granastaðir Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. Molt net i els llit molt còmodes.

Set in Húsavík in the North Iceland region and Godafoss Waterfall reachable within 45 km, Kaldbaks-kot cottages offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, water sports facilities... The cottage was simply amazing, very clean and well equipped. You can park right next to the entrance so it's very easy. The cottages are surrounded by spectacular nature. Next to the cottages there is a lake (and a boat that can be used) And a number of hot tubs where the water is hot sulfur water We were 3 people and stayed in a cottage of 4. There was enough space and very cozy and warm. This was the place we enjoyed the most during our trip to Iceland. We stayed there for 2 nights, which is definitely enough time to enjoy the area and the city of Husavik. Highly recommend
