We recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Edda’s SK52 by the Sea, Unique spacious luxury airbnb, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property was impeccably clean, beautifully & very tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to the smallest details, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near Reykjavik (10mins drive) and was a great location to kickstart all our sighting tours/drive to the Golden Circle, and the other parts of southern of Iceland. One of the highlights was the spacious bathroom, which was a real luxury—plenty of room to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen island was another standout feature, perfect for both cooking and socializing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights and woke up refreshed and to a great view each morning. Free parking, with it's close proximity to our stay is a huge bonus. Edda, our host, is the most gracious and generous person ever. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and yet provided us with all the privacy we needed. We could not ask for anything more. Situated in Reykjavík, 2.6 km from Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach and 300 metres from the centre, Day Dream Soleyjargata Rooms & Apartments features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a... I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay at this guesthouse. After requesting, we had the option of an earlier check-in which was really great. Check-in was easy thanks to the information that came in the message. The room was clean, cozy, towels and a hairdryer. The private bathroom is a big bonus. The room also has a fridge, coffee maker and kettle. There is a kitchen with dishes and a storage room for suitcases downstairs if you need them. Quick arrangement. Perfect location two minutes from the bus station, about 10 minutes from the center, 5 minutes from a beautiful park. We will definitely be back.

I basically liked everything about this place. It's pretty, comfortable, and well-equipped. Kjartan, the owner, even has a 8 page PDF file prepared for guests, containg infos on how to get to the property, activities, restaurants, and cool places to check out! That really helped me out. =) Plus, you have a beautiful view on the sea, which you can walk by whenever you feel like it. Furthermore, unless you dislike walking, it only takes roughly 20m to walk downtown, where most shops, and touristic activities are.
