The town itself is very quirky and may not be for everyone. If you want to be in a friendly, small fishing town on the edge of the Arctic circle and be exposed to exceptional hiking and amazing coastline look no further. The guesthouse is simple and homely. The lady at the reception is an absolute super star.

Best views, nice decorations and also very kind host. The hot tubs are a great plus, too. I'd definitely come again and will recommend this little oasis to everyone I know that travels north. The area is totally underrated and there are a lot of nice things to see. You can get some groceries in Asbyrgi or Thorshöfn if you come from the other direction. The house is equipped with everthing one might need :).

The place is somewhere far off but loved the facilities and the whole experience was self serve and we never faced any issue at all. I also left my key in the room and locked myself out but had someone help me the moment I called them.

We met these 2 coolest girls that work there during summer and they totally changed the experience! The horses around, beautiful nature and peace & quiet was just want we needed!
