Probably the best equipped apartment we've stayed in. Lots of room, very comfortable beds, clean, and well-organised with very clear instructions on how to use each of the many appliances. Infact, this apartment was the best thing about our otherwise underwhelming stayi in Bihoro

Super well equipped, comfortable, functional and spacious house. Really nice amenities (skin care). Location is good for Abashiri (although not in the city, but that way it's quiet).

The BBQ area was great, the house was spacious, and the kitchen was very practical and easy to use. Being away from the city, we were lucky to encounter some local wildlife and enjoy a beautiful, star-filled night sky.
The staff was extremely friendly. I arrived rather late in the evening but was still greeted by two very energetic and helpful staff at the front desk. One of the staff had spent few years in Taiwan and has excellent command of Chinese. Had some really meaningful conversation and experienced the warm hospitality of Japan.

Lovely and unorthodox place but definitely a great place to stay in Kitami.
Very close from Kitami city and with large bedrooms, it was a very restful stay and definitely enhanced by the Onsen and Sauna available in there. Will stay there again.

We dined at one of the waterfont restaurants for lunch and had a great meal and very entertaining and helpful chef. Afterwards we took in the local sights and walked out along the breakwater. Eventually we found a delightful coffee shop/antique store and had tea and homemade cakes. The outdoors was chilly after dark but with a refreshing walk we were able to locate the local supermarket, possibly a bit late, as there were slim pickins.
We didn't get to the emu park, afterall.... we're Australian. Sorry we missed the museum, but we left early the next morning to catch the ferry from Tomakomai to Akita.
