The sound of the waves from the room and spectacular sunsets were fabulous! It was also a nice walk from the hotel to the restaurants in town (and the famous ramen shop is less about 5 min walk away). The staff were immensely friendly and there is a very sweet dog on site who follows the staff around and who you can pet if you ask! :) Thank you for the lovely time!

Featuring a hot-spring bath, a small shrine in the lobby and a restaurant serving freshly caught seafood, Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort is a 5-minute walk from Oronko Rock. The meals were exceptional, the staff were very good, the views were fantastic, the hotel facilities were great. Should have stayed longer it was such a great hotel.

Situated in Shari, 300 metres from Shiretoko National Park, Kiki Shiretoko Natural Resort features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. A lot of buses take you directly to the major hotels in the area, including Kiki. The staff were extremely courteous and professional, and the hot spring facilities were great. We also got a room with an ocean view which was breathtaking.

Hotel Kifu Hotel Shiretoko is a 10-minute drive from Shiretoko National Park, which is assigned as a UNESCO World Heritage. Checking out of this hotel was a sad experience. I stayed for one night only and it was superb. Amazing location and view of the sea, amazing food, and an out of this world private open air hot spring, in a snowy wooden cabin. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, I needed help with a few things and they really went above and beyond. Even included a free ride from the bus station. I want to return here every year.
