Food was great! Odori Park is beautiful. Sapporo was central to visit Furano, beie and Otaru. All these places are breathtaking. Everything is accessible. City is clean, neat. Japan is consistently good.

Many fun things to do and all very walkable. Train/bus/cab easy to grab but not as well marked as Tokyo. Train to Hodoko seems to frequently cancel due to rain. Best to fly if travel plans aren’t flexible.

my favorite spots in sapporo: nakajima koen, maruyama zoo, and hokkaido university botanical garden! when it's full of nature, it's good! the nightlife scene of sapporo is not as accessible for solo travelers though, they seem to better if you have multiple companions!

June was a good time to visit Sapporo.

June was a good time to visit Sapporo. Very comfortable and relax compare to Osaka and Tokyo. Sapporo is more lay back while Osaka is colorful and buzzing, and Tokyo is busy and technologicaly city. Sapporo in June/July can be a great choice for weddi ng nor others

Sapporo, like all the other cities in Japan that I have visited, offers beautiful parks, delicious food, excellent shopping, and convenient transportation. It is especially beautiful in the summer, when colorful flowers are in full bloom and the weather is pleasantly mild—neither too hot nor too cold.

The Sapporo Grand is in a fantastic location for ease of access to/ from airports, trains, subway, bus, shopping centres, tourist attractions and and food outlets. The hotel exudes elegance and stately ambiance - a grand lady whose staff are unfailingly helpful and courteous, nothing is too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay there as we felt very welcome. There is a range of dining, coffee places, lounges and bars within the hotel complex to suit almost any tastes and their buffet breakfasts and lunches are superb

Good location, near to the Sapporo JR Station and Stellar Place/Daimaru, convenient for shopping. Also within walking distance to Odori Park for the Snow Festival. Very new hotel with nice modern decor and nice smell. Onsen is very nice after cold days seeing the Snow Festival. Buffet breakfast is one of the best I've come across - huge selections and all very fresh and high quality, very well organised despite the number of guests during this busy period. Concierge is very helpful in arranging for transport.

The Forza Hotel is located within a short walk from the Sapporo train station which can link you to the rest of Hokkaido with ease. It's also a relatively short walk down to Odori park if you are wanting to visit the snow festival in February. A small window view from your room lets you know the current weather conditions outside also.

Room was generous in size and the double bed was huge. Comfortable for family of 4. Bathtub and shower was really nice and high tech (almost too high tech to operate). Kitchenette is useful for those who would like to cook instead of going out. There is affordable parking just across the road from the hotel.

The location is ideal for a visitor to Sapporo. It’s right on the Odori Park, across from the TV tower. It’s a few minute’s walk from the shopping street and nightlife area.
