The hotel is new and located close to a grocery store and a convenience store (short walk). Room was good sized, restroom was the traditional small single unit but new and easy to use. We requested two rooms and they placed our rooms close. The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. The public bath area is very nice and much appreciated. It was a wonderful stay.

It was a great hotel, we added breakfast which was very good. Staff were very kind and helpful. It’s not very fancy or newer, but it has everything you need.

The half board was great and very filling. The onsen had a unique texture to the water, and the place had a very traditional feel to it. Felt like plenty of locals headed here to use the onsen.

Even though Towada is about 60,000 population (big to me), it is very walkable. Lots of parks to visit (don't miss the Marshmallow House) and you can't beat the food you find in c-stores (Lawsons, 7-11, Family Mart) all over Japan. Towada is a good central location for day trips (if you have a car) to gorges, lakes, mountains, etc.
