We loved our stay. Everything was wonderful. We chose to have a BBQ dinner our first night and the food was amazing. It was lovely sitting on the cafe deck and enjoying the evening air over dinner.

The staff went above and beyond for us! We ran into some issues driving to Tottori and had to check in much later than was allowed but they waited for us and we could not have been more thankful after the drive that we had had. We went just to see the snow on the sand dunes and loved how accessible the sand dune park was to the guesthouse. We went during off season so we were able to have a private onsen which was fantastic. Can't speak highly enough of this place, staff, and experience.

Breakfast was onigiri but they had soup to warm up the body. I appreciated that such a small hotel had laundry facilities and really liked the freebies such as the face wash/lotion etc, that they provided. They were also able to send my luggage to a different location.

Really great town to wind down and relax.
Really great town to wind down and relax. Very calm, with very welcoming people. The port is nice to look around, its a classic spot to check out for fans of the Anime series Free, and a pretty town beyond that. Cycling around is very enjoyable

Tottori city is small but packed with experiences.
Tottori city is small but packed with experiences. I recommend: Warabekan - Toy Museum; Jinpukaku Mansion (closed until 2029 but still a beautiful place to visit); Tottori Castle Ruins (the park has great city views) and UNESCO Global Geopark - Tottori Sand Dunes. The crab dishes are delicious!

Iwami is a beautifully, hidden secret to the Japan sea. It’s a quiet and quaint town with gorgeous views of the ocean and God’s creation!
Restaurants, cafés and great sushi await your visit.
I wanna do Iwado (in Iwado), Ajiroya and a new sandwich cafe by Uradome Coast Cruise and the Tea Room were all special places we visited as well as the Sand Dune area where new restaurants and cafés have also popped up.

Exceptional place with mountain and sea being side by side.
Exceptional place with mountain and sea being side by side. I got to see better Fall colors than Kansai region. Sand Dunes (small area) in this weather and geography is also unexpected, frankly the dune was taller than what I saw in Dubai. Flight taking off closer to sea shore and when you look at other side window, it is mountains. The place is a geological wonder in my view.
