The views are outstanding. And the cost was very reasonable for both lodging and food (that said, I would have paid a bit more for attention to the very basic upgrades that would make it more comfortable.

It had been a dream of mine to stay at Tea Trails since 2019 and I couldnt be any happier with the experience. It will always be one of the most special moments of my life as I proposed to my girlfriend here. Huge thanks to the staff for recording our moment. The hotel is flawless, service and food could not be any better. Purely by coincidence we stayed here as the Hotel was featured on BBC "Amazing Hotels, life beyond the lobby". We were lucky that on our second day we were the only guests at Dunkeld bungalow so could enjoy everything to ourselves. The view from the infinity pool is probably the best I will ever see. Sure it's an expensive hotel but if you have the opportunity to stay here you wont regret it.

The Farm Resorts is located on the shores of the Castlereigh Lake in Dickoya. The Resort has barbecue facilities and terraced garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the a la carte restaurant. The view, the service, and everything else. Piyal, our butler, was simply extraordinary. He attended to our every whim. He was very warm natured and welcoming.

You can judge a place by how you feel when you leave .. I didn’t want to leave .. well done everyone.. I’ll be back 🙏🏼

The pictures don’t do the surroundings justice. The house(s) has a ramshackle charm and the setting is top notch, especially for the price. I went swimming in the river my first day and laid out on the rocks. you can hear the waterfalls from your room while you sleep. Ravi is an honest and welcoming host who really makes you’re going to have a good stay. He also has top notch recommendations and thankfully convinced me to stay more than just one night as my only plan in hatton was to hike Adam’s peak. But the Gartmore waterfall and swimming there was a highlight of my trip.

Saman and his wife did everything and more to make our stay comfortable. Their food is great, breakfast in the balcony with a beautiful view is the highlight of this homestay. They arranged for a tuktuk to take us around the area and the tuktuk driver was very knowledgeable and showed us a lot of places. Don't miss an early morning walk through the tea gardens just above the homestay. Saman also helped us get train tickets to Ella which was a very difficult task considering that all tickets get sold within seconds. It was because of him that we could experience the spectacular train route! They were very warm towards our 6 yr old daughter and overall made us feel very welcome. There is a bit of climbing involved though - very typical of hill stations and nothing that a regular, averagely fit person cannot negotiate.
