Lifesaving when you have an early flight and want to have an additional hour of sleep, clean rooms and facilities are important advantages too. We had a late check-in, so we especially appreciated the swiftness of the process and the clear explanations of the receptionist.

Airport Hotel Mara is a North American style hotel, located 2 km from the Riga International Airport and 7 km from Riga Old Town. Guests have free WiFi and free private parking at their disposal. Rooms very clean, but not the most comfortable. Ideal for staying the night before an early morning flight. Staff(young lady around 20) was very attentive, friendly and engaging. She booked a taxi for us too. Price was great considering location and for the 5 of us(2 adults, 3 kids) we paid €100 for the night.

Apartment near Airport is set in the Zemgales priekšpilsēta district of Rīga, 8.1 km from Žanis Lipke Memorial, 8.5 km from Bastejkalna Parks and 8.5 km from Latvian National Museum of Art. The host was polite and caring. Met us to let in at midnight. Very spacious and clean apartment. Safe parking space. Very comfortable bed. The crib we asked for was fully prepared for the baby with warm sheets. There is a grocery store nearby.

Great for a small family (sleep up to 3). Ideal location - 5 min drive from airport. Private parking (however before you are allowed to park your car you must collect the remote from the apartment or else the guard won't let you it. He refuses to acknowledge instructions given by the host).

Set in Mārupe and only 7.6 km from House of Blackheads, Lambertu ielas rezidence offers accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. I can’t understand why this gorgeous place costs so little.
