Staff were VERY helpful. Room was comfortable & large, beds were great. On site restaurant/bar was so convenient. Small pool at top of building is accessible by elevator. Pool looks out at ocean, long enough for 7 - 9 swim strokes.

Staff was friendly & cooperative. Communication through Booking.com was very inefficient and quite frustrating. PrePayment process in person 2 weeks prior to check in was somewhat onerous as person did not speak English. However our requests were honoured and all staff was cordial - especially gentleman looking after storage of all our luggage and security staff overseeing the safety of our Oversize rental van was excellent. The hotel is well-situated and convenient. However it is very dated and facilities are run down. Water seepage caused a significant flood in the bedroom of one unit. Fridges are practically useless. The beds are like burial slabs they are so hard. Also unfortunate that you have no restaurant or even a cafe for guests to eat in. But we appreciated the economical price of this budget accommodation as we required 3 rooms for our extended family and that the prices were not hyper-inflated due to the eclipse as they were everywhere else.

This is a small hotel of about 30 rooms. The rooms are small, but they are clean, decent TV, the Wi-Fi was extremely strong. The shower was also nice and hot. This is a basic hotel, the front desk speaks a little bit of English, they were very professional and helpful. I ended up staying here two extra weeks just because I enjoyed it, not to mention that the price was incredibly low.

The room was near the elevator and stairway. Drinking water daily and a single serving coffee maker in the room. Nice city view. Ample plug-ins. Comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. Room safe. Great water pressure. Walking distance to many great cafes and restaurants. There are plenty of galleries and activities within a few km.
I had an amazing experience at Hostelería Casa Margarita. The place is actually even better in person than in the photos! The staff is incredibly attentive, kind, and friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The location is unbeatable: everything you need is within a 10-minute walk or less, including the beach, ATMs, restaurants, and the local market. Plus, the bus to the Golden Zone (Zona Dorada) stops very close by, making it super easy to get around. Inside, the common areas are great and the room was very comfortable the bed is a dream and the shower has excellent water pressure. I also really appreciated the filtered drinking water, as well as the board games and books available. For those who need to stay connected, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay. High quality at a great price. I definitely recommend it and would absolutely book here again!
