NetherlandsThe manager (Raul) is very attentive and always present if required. The rooms are spacious and each has a large balcony with superb views. Breakfast is varied and delicious! I ate so much it lasted ne all day! The hotel has a magnificent pool scene and bar that makes it difficult to want to go anywhere else.
One minute walk away are the beautiful beaches where you can lounge all day, watch the amazingly beautiful sunset or pose for social media pics on the rocky outcrops between the beaches.

We arrived at the hotel and were told that our reservation through Booking.com had not made it onto their system despite us having a confirmation email and the booking showing in the app.
Jose was a star, ensuring we had a room. It was perfect. A great size, clean, sea view. I had the best nights sleep and a hot powerful shower.
The breakfast buffet was also delightful. It had every option you could possibly wish for with a chefs station where you could request, eggs, omelettes etc.
The team really could not do enough to help us.
I’d 100% recommend and wish we were staying here for the remainder of our trip.

Walking around historic Mazatlan, visiting family and...
Walking around historic Mazatlan, visiting family and getting a personal tour, and eating amazing food made the trip worth it. I will not go back in May, however, and don't recommend it unless you love, love, love the heat. It was a bit much for me, and as a result, I spent many hours in the pool. We also got amazing massages at Athina in historic Mazatlan, ate at Sinaloense, Totem, Elina Cafe, Pata Salada, La Caleta. Our group had a blast parasailing and learning about the city's history.

Comparing Mazatlán with Los Cabos areas, hands down Mazatlán is more inexpensive and has far more attractions to enjoy. We visit both regularly, but we just seem to enjoy the sense of community and friendliness towards visitors.

Arguably the best beach resort in Mexico in terms of overall appeal. Value for money;gorgeous beach promenade rivalling Rio de Janeiros Copacabana/Ipanema, historical charm, cuisine and a very welcoming local population.

Lots to see and do or spend time resting and relaxing in the beautiful weather. The locals are very friendly and inviting, never had a bad experience. We ate great food, great access to groceries, convenience , pharmacy. We managed to get by with almost no Spanish but will definitely learn more which will make the experience even better. They enjoy/ appreciate it when you can use and understand basic Spanish.

It is difficult to say everything we like about Mazatlan as we have been vacationing there every year since1985. We simply love the people, the flavors, museums, and downtown. It is a city that values their heritage and history. Each year we wonder why we don't stay longer.

My family and I enjoyed the sites: El Faro, the beaches, Observatorio 1873, the cathedral downtown, Plaza Macheo and walking on the Malecon and beaches. We really enjoyed the Pulmonia Tour, our guide was a native of Mazatlan and provided history within his tour. Juan Jose Hernandez +526691649770. He came last minute on a Sunday morning.
We loved the restaurants- Rico's, Panchos, El Presidio Cocina de Mexico, Totem, the coffee shops near the B&B. The sites, the views, the playas, we loved it all!

It is an older hotel, but it is well maintained and clean. The staff and the service were exceptional.

Ocean view room-2 double beds. Both beds were very uncomfortable. I complained to the maid and she replaced the mattresses immediately! Typical Mexican hotel with an outstanding view.
