Love visiting Monterrey. Great views and great people. Went to Zancho's restaurant bar and their live music was great. Next day went to the Arena Monterrey and enjoyed Ramon Ayala's presentation. And for the after-party we went to Pilo's Bar. The next day, we went to the Cola de Caballo, it was beautiful!!!

Monterrey has a lot of good things to see.

Monterrey has a lot of good things to see. Several really amazing restaurants all over the city, but especially in the Macroplaza and Barrio Antigua. It is a big city, but it has a metro train that is easy to use. It does not have all the tourist things like Mexico City, but there are several museums that are very interesting. The people are helpful and friendly throughout the city. It's close to the US border, but has a unique Mexican charm all its own. I highly recommend Monterrey as a city to visit while traveling in Mexico.

I had been in Monterrey a few times before but just driving...

I had been in Monterrey a few times before but just driving by on the way to Saltillo, but this time I stayed there and the Old Town blew up my mind!!! it is very nice, cosy and with a lot of business to have a drink or eat, specially the Morelos street which is the main one. The atmosphere is very Mexican and the architechture very classical Mexical barroque, and although the old town its not so big as the one in Puebla, I Think its definitively one of the most beautiful and hottest spots in town.

Beautiful city to visit - lots of historic thing to visit and see. Lots of very good museum. Very safe and walkable city the park in centro is great and always has something going on. We used uber to get around - worked out great. Walking around the canal Santa Lucia is so vey nice - very safe - lots of families and great for kids. Restaurant in Barillo Antiguo are all good and very reasonably priced.

Monterrey is easy to get around for such a large city.

Monterrey is easy to get around for such a large city. Uber is cheap but public transportation is easy as well. Traffic isn't that bad compared to other large cities. And the restaurants in Monterrey are fantastic. Make sure to get some Cabrito.

Monterrey is a great city in Mexico.

Monterrey is a great city in Mexico. From shopping, eating and sight seeing, it is second to none. I really enjoyed the people and being fluent in the native language helps to really get the richness of their conversation. It is a city rich in history, strong culture and traditions that offer one a sense of connection, identity and continuity. Viva Mexico!
