I liked this apartment very much. Its in a safe neighborhood with restaurants, grocery shopping and cafes near by. It was clean, had a kitchen, good internet, smart tv, air-conditioning and it's quite large. Checking in was easy with a lock box outside.

This is a beautiful place with cool mountain weather.
This is a beautiful place with cool mountain weather. The site is mostly frequented by Mexicans. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and the in-house al fresco restaurant served fresh local fare. We felt relaxed and very welcome. Be sure to arrive before the gates close at 5:30 pm (althought we were accommodated for our late arrival) and be aware that there is a long bumpy approach road. Cabins don't have cooking facilities.

We met many pleasant local people at hotel, restaurants and on our walk around Centro. Even invited by a couple to stay in their guest house in the future. Old Tepic is a bit run down but still interesting. We enjoyed walking and discovering plazas parks people and birds. Does not feel like a tourist town.
